Schuyler County Mutual Insurance Company was formed in 1877. It was founded by a group of farmers, to provide fire and lightning coverage for Schuyler County residents. Today the company proudly provides Homeowners and Farm-owners insurance to the Northeast Missouri area. Board members are comprised of 6 policy holders. We are reinsured with Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company, an ‘A’ rated company by AM Best.
Our Annual Meeting is held the First Thursday in February at 2pm.
